Hello and welcome back to the podcast. Today’s episode is breaking with tradition. We are going to step away from regular programming and today I’m coming to listeners who feel low on energy at this time of year, which I suspect is a lot of us, right? We’ve just wrapped up the majority of 2025.
We’re feeling burned out, pushing various offers up a hill. And you basically can’t wait to wrap up your Black Friday promotions, but you’re currently in the process of, you know, tweaking, finalizing, et cetera, if you’re listening live, and you are so tempted to just lay low until 2026, as soon as you’re on the other end of Black Friday. But here’s the thing, December is one
of the best times and the smartest times to stack your retention bricks and quietly set yourself up for a stronger, more profitable year ahead. So in this episode, I’m going to walk you through three essential areas I would optimize at this time of year and how you can take action as part of something brand new
and wildly fun.
So here’s what I would recommend. I would use December to reset strategically and I would absolutely start by focusing on your retention bricks. And if you are now going Nadine, what the heck are retention bricks? Well, retention bricks are a concept that I share inside my membership Retention Lab. And every month my members commit to one brick, which is the equivalent of one strategy.
they’re going to implement test or tweak in their business, which means they’re taking gradual action, they’re progressing, they’re making progress towards their own powerful stackable retention system. And these strategies and bricks stack over time and become your flexible automated long-term customer experience ecosystem. I would recommend three tiny yet powerful bricks to
begin with. They can move the needle instantly and they are super quick to implement. So first up I would start to look at how you can leverage your current audience to grow your list for you so you don’t have to speak on even more stages and run ads all the time. Then I would look at how you can tweak your sales page so you actually show people rather than tell people how good your offer is. So they say yep I need this right now.
And number three, I would look at how you can reward your existing buyers with a surprise reward to round off the year 2025, the year that was. So these ideas here aren’t pulled out of thin air. They’re actually formulas taken straight from Retention Lab, my membership, and I’m going to help you execute them step by step as part of the upcoming CX Escape Room Challenge, which is happening inside the Lab from the 2nd to the 4th of
